Daniela Figueiredo was born in Germany and today coordinates, from Portugal, a team that supports Volkswagen Group customers in German. In this video she talks about how she got here and why she loves working from home.
From Germany to Portugal
Daniela was born in Germany, lived there until she was 27 and has worked in customer support from a very early age. Since moving to Portugal, she has always worked for the German market, always in customer support. Then the opportunity came up to coordinate this project.
German-language customer support, from Portugal
The project works as a front office for any question from customers and potential customers, from sales to after-sales: a specialised, dedicated service in German for Volkswagen Group customers, with fast, personalised answers about their vehicle.
Daniela's role is to support the team, monitor the service and ensure its quality.
Working from home in an international team
The team is international, based in Portugal and fully remote. Daniela loves working from home: she feels much more efficient, can organise her personal life and has much more time for herself and her family.
