The average gross monthly pay of contact centre agents in Portugal was €1,021 in 2025. It is the first time the sector average has passed the thousand-euro mark.
The figures come from the 2026 Benchmarking Study by APCC, the sector association, and were reported on 26 May 2026. The study covers 59,409 professionals across 1,717 operations at 96 companies.
It is the benchmark against which any contact centre salary band in Portugal is read. The bands for these four roles are published on each role's own page, as gross annual figures.
